Alex Epstein: was it unfair dismissal?

In BBC’s Apprentice I’m beginning to miss Alex! Did we get the decision wrong to let him go?

If business is about teamwork, would we have Alex on our team?

Would you trust him? Yes, I think I might.

Is he a slick “corporate type”? Definitely not.

There’s nothing smooth about Alex, unlike some we could mention. What you see is what you get. He’s down to earth. For real.

That’s what I miss. Even when he was suggesting telling porkies about Alesha Keys being on their stand! It was so blatant, but it was easy to forgive him.

Alex wasn’t two-faced either. He’ll be honest with you.

He worked hard too.

The tasks set did not bring out his proverbial “skill sets” to quote our old friend Melissa.

But I think he was a good egg.

Character and effort 9 out of 10. Skills, um 5. Potential?
