Chancellor “gets” business

In my opinion this was an inspired budget. The Chancellor shows that he understands business.

The public sector cannot produce wealth, the private sector can. Corporation Tax reductions in the next few years, an extension of the Entrepreneurs’ Relief and a reduced NI burden, particularly for new set ups in the North, will all encourage entrepreneurs.

A baying Harman is hopefully the last we will hear of old, centralist nanny-statism.

Empower people. Don’t smother them with benefits which trap them in helplessness. Help the genuinely poor. Honour our pensioners.

About drstevelewis

Good leadership is essential for any project to succeed. I specialise in the most difficult leadership challenges; those involving the way we relate to other people or the way they relate to us. With a background of many years in business and an earlier training in medicine I combine the two in a unique consultancy.
