How to overcome defeat quickly

Step one: stop pretending!

Denial is our first resort when we lose. ” We were robbed…” No, actually we were not good enough.

“Pretending” sounds like a child’s game, but most of us play it.

Let’s face reality. It is hardly ever as bad as it seems. What I mean is, the fear of facing our weaknesses is often worse than dealing with them.

And playing to our strengths is even easier than overcoming our weaknesses. With such a good team of people, success will return.

About drstevelewis

Good leadership is essential for any project to succeed. I specialise in the most difficult leadership challenges; those involving the way we relate to other people or the way they relate to us.
