You sound just like your father?

Speaking as a father, I’ve discovered this is not always said as a compliment!

Are we like our parents? Er yes, and like our siblings and other influential people in our lives. A former boss, or a good friend; we often pick up mannerisms and attitudes from them.

Unconsciously we embody much of our past influencers. The past can thus be a key to unlocking the things we struggle with in the present. And the people.
